Frequently Asked Questions

Is it safe to travel to Uttarakhand in July (Monsoon Season)?

While Uttarakhand is beautiful in July, it is the peak monsoon season. This means there is a higher risk of heavy rainfall, landslides, and road closures. We generally recommend avoiding non-essential travel to hilly regions during this period for safety. However, if you must travel, we advise checking real-time weather and road conditions and opting for safer, lower-altitude destinations.

Are there any specific health advisories for traveling in the mountains?

Staying hydrated is crucial. Protect yourself from sun exposure with sunscreen and hats. Be aware of motion sickness on winding roads. Carry a basic medical kit with pain relievers, antiseptic, and any personal medications. Get adequate rest.

What types of Char Dham packages does Uttarakhand Travel Agency offer?

We offer a variety of Char Dham packages to suit every need and budget, including: Group tours (budget-friendly), Private customized tours, Helicopter tours (Do Dham & Char Dham by Heli), and specialized packages for senior citizens. Packages can originate from Delhi, Haridwar, or Dehradun.

Are your tour packages fixed, or can they be customized?

While we offer popular pre-designed tour packages, we specialize in **customized itineraries**. We can tailor any package to your preferences, including duration, accommodation type, activities, and budget.

Are there any age or health restrictions for the Yatra?

While there are no strict age restrictions, a medical check-up is advisable, especially for individuals with pre-existing health conditions, pregnant women, or those over 60. Kedarnath involves a significant trek, so good physical fitness is recommended.
